Today we received the much-coveted Desmond hoodies. It took us the most part of the afternoon to stack them and sort them out. Of course as you no doubt have noticed if you recently tried to buy a Desmond hoodie, a vast majority of these boxes are already sold. We’ll start shipping them on Monday, so prepare yourself for awesomeness. If you still haven’t ordered your Desmond Hoodie, some models/sizes are still available (like this one or that one), you can see which sizes are in stock simply by clicking on said sizes.

Woohoo!!!! I got my black AND White pre-ordered with next day delivery!!! Am in the UK so am PRAYING that if they’re shipped Monday I get them tuesday!! I should do seeing as how I paid to have em the next day ;)! Wasn’t cheap either, 2 hoodies and to get them here the next day £139/$220!!! Don’t let me down guys!!!

I do remember last year when I ordered the Abstergo hoodie I paid for one of the quickest shipping options and it arrived a few days later & I had to pay additional shipping charges when the parcel arrived :cry:

To be honest we don’t even have yet another round of Desmond Hoodie in production so there won’t be any restock of this specific product in 2011 for sure.
Everything left is what is displayed as available on the site (as mentioned by @chrislewis in the news).

Oh my God. I’m so excited. I’m surprised that the black ones sold out before the white ones, to be honest. When I saw them all, the one that was most appealing to me was the original white one with the eagle, so that’s the one I grabbed. I know the black one is newer, but there’s something about the white hoodie to match the original white assassin’s garb that makes me feel all warm and tingly inside.
But anyhow, I’m hoping I’m one of the first to get mine rather than one of the last! I’m greedy. And excited. So excited.
I’ll be checking my account to see if it’s been fulfilled every day starting Monday!

I preordered the two eagle hoodies 2 days after they went live, so here’s hoping I make one of the early shipouts. That, and I hope the mediums I went with fit correctly. If not, I guess I have to find someone who’s smalls are a bit snug.
But boy am I excited for these to show up! I have my jeans and DM shirts ready for next weekend!

Following up, the mediums fit perfectly! I’m glad I didn’t get the Ubifolks to switch mine to smalls, or I’d be rather upset right now. My only two issues are the red somewhat showing through the grey around the seams, and that the hood zipper isn’t rigid enough to support how Desmond wore his (or I’m doing it wrong).

i ALWAYS pre order!!! if you’re a hardcore fan and you really want these great collectibles etc you ALWAYS pre order!!! its just the smart thing to do!! and guys, PLEASE continue to make more as i already have the black and white on pre order and am intending on getting ANOTHER black AND white one along with the reversible one in the new year! my advice, keep these hoodies as Open Edition, people will always want them and i’ll be purchasing them most likely more than once XD!

singapore?! kinda crazy if you plan on free running while wearing a desmond black hoodie in a tropical climate. unless you plan to free run in an air conditioned building or a giant freezer, you might get heat stroke from running around in it.

i don’t speak on behalf of others but the hoodie is terribly warm for me. i wore the hoodie in an a/c environment set at 70F and i was breaking out in a sweat. i wasn’t free running or anything like that. i was at my desk buried in a pile of paperwork. tropics, i would say, should hit the high 80s on any given day. still manageable if you are just walking around in the hoodie but any strenuous exercise in it will heat you up quickly. lining isn’t some dri fit magic. it’s almost fleecy. the hoodie would be most comfortable if the temps are in the 60s and below for me. that way, i can run errands in them without looking like i just came out of the shower mopping wet.

I got my hoodie today, it is actually quite warm considering how thin and light it feels but I am a free runner/traceur myself and I only ever wear a hoodie when I free run when its absolutely freezing outside

@pedgz , mine would only reach me sometime in december. i just put my pre order on hold as i will be out of town till nov 20. i don’t like the idea of my hoodies going into someone else’s closet when the packages are left at my doorstep for weeks. it will be a long wait for me but christmas will be so sweet cause i’ll have so many AC items arriving at my doorstep. i have pre ordered the lineage dvd, those novels, hardcover AC french comics by corbeyran (and maybe the german version too) and the hoodies and ottoman tee.. i am so looking forward to them all.

I’m in the same predicament as a lot of people here. Looked at the crazy price for these and was shocked but decided to save up anyways. I paid for Next Day Delivery, they set the shipment date on a day where the following day is a Saturday and delivery services don’t operate on a weekend, delivery was 3 days ago, still hasn’t arrived today…..money wasted. If I knew I’d have to wait this long I would of chosen the cheaper option. Know for next time when they allow Next Day Delivery option then set shipment date on a Friday when it doesn’t deliver on a weekend.

Because not everyone needs to pay these, and it’s different for every country and amount of money you paid originally.
It sucks, I know, I once paid 60 euros over an amount of 110 euros… It’s not shipping costs you’re paying, it’s customs that are charging you.
Good luck with that though, and you can always make a phonecall to the customs and ask them how exactly this is calculated.

Don’t feel bad if you didn’t order one… If I would have known they were going to be grey and not WHITE, I wouldn’t have. To make matters worse, I STILL haven’t been emailed back by Ubiworkshop in regard to it being grey AND a half inch long brown stain on the right/front of the jacket that I noticed as I was unpacking it… After waiting over a month, I am extremely disappointed in ubiworkshop’s poor item description and customer service, or lack there of.

I also can not review this item as I don’t have a “code”… So I’ll put it here.
Overall, the hoodie is of good quality and likeness to the style of the hoodie Desmond wears in the game. However, I was under the impression it was WHITE, as in the game and description. The item I received is clearly labeled “cool grey” and is, in my opinion, a very dark grey to be passed off as white. Also Mine has a small but very dark and noticeable stain on the right side of the chest and I am STILL waiting on a reply from Ubiworkshop. Had I have known it was going to be grey, despite the description saying white, I would have never spend the $90.

Also if you wear the white/grey hoodie in the rain, the rain drops make it look see through so you get grey/pink spots wherever the rain hits you, although this disappears when it dries off it still doesnt look as awesome when you walk down the street in a Desmond hoodie with pink spots on it…. plus if you try and run with the hood up, the zip on the hood tends to bounce off of your face. Although that last one may have been because I was sent an XL instead of a Medium… overall I wish I’d have been told about what happens if it gets wet otherwise I’d have ordered the black hoodie instead

I barely got lucky enough to order one for my sister who was very upset when she found out they were not making more for the holidays, she is a rabid fan.
She pre ordered ACR and found out about the hoodie a little late in the game; college is expensive after all. But she has fund jars for such things as games. (She collects pennies I kid you not she picks a penny up when she finds one and will turn those copper bastards into cash)
So my little sister worships this game and she adores the characters. When I seen her disappointed at the fact she did not make it in time for the hoodie nor did she get the money in time I stepped in while she was in her Physics class and found out they had a couple extra in her size in stock so I took advantage of it . It has been a very long while since I have heard anything from them. I am meticulous so I’m OCD that way.
I’m sorry I do apologize where I come from there is a quality standard in speed and communication with customers.
I love you guys seriously and wish to see you continue to get better

A couple of bad points I feel obliged to point out about the Desmond Hoodie:
If you wear the white/grey hoodie in the rain, the rain drops make it look see through so you get grey/pink spots wherever the rain hits you, although this disappears when it dries off it still doesnt look as awesome when you walk down the street in a Desmond hoodie with pink spots on it, it ruins the coolness of the product. I feel like that should have been like a notice on the product page telling the buyer that this particular product has a tendency to become a greyish pink if the owner wants to wear it to keep him/her dry from the rain.
Also about the zip on the hood itself, although it is a part of the Desmond Hoodie replica,if you try and run with the hood up, the zip on the hood tends to bounce off of your face.
Although another problem could have been the cause of that because I was sent the wrong size…
I was sent an XL instead of a Medium, so I emailed UbiWorkshop to tell them that my orders been messed up and they were kind enough to inform me that they were willing to exchange the hoodie I received for the one I ordered (medium) and they emailed me a UPS label to return the Hoodie I have.
Although I am a little curious as to why if they know they still have my medium hoodie that I ordered, then why wasnt I already told I had been sent the wrong size, but I’m not one to question this if it means I could still get the hoodie I ordered, in which case all will be well.
Now I suffer the anticipation of waiting for UPS to come and pick the hoodie up to take back to UbiWorkshop, then I have to wait and find out if MY hoodie is being sent back to me.
Please do not mess this up Ubi, I have faith in you.
