Man…every time I buy an Ubi product it either goes on sale or is given away for free within a few weeks or months.

When the app store came out I did this exact thing. Got an iTunes account and downloaded everything free or $1 that I knew I would use WHEN I got an iPhone (and later, iPad). I saved a bunch of money doing this exact same thing as you. Now with the apps in the cloud I delete everything I don’t use off the computer and download them as needed later.
In fact, I follow appshopper.com and others to find out about deals like this one (not endorsing that site, it’s just the first that popped into my head and there are plenty of other app tracking sites).

Almost forgot: Apple refurbs are a great way to get a good deal. But if you go that route, wait unti the iPad 3 is out for a few months to find late model 2′s (I have one and it’s great!)

Thanks guys! Great way to introduce people to a new way to AC
got it and I have to say it’s pretty good, a great take on the Assassin’s Creed universe. Now to go play

It’s sad that I don’t have an Ipad

You should make it for the iPod Touch and iPhone. D:

The game is almost impossible to make for a smaller screen. Ubi could develop for half the iPad screen size, but even that is a stretch. So much of the game depends on simultaneous, real time views of the whole board and individual moves by the opponent. Downsizing would mean altering game play and tactical complexity…which wouldn’t be good.

yeh make it for the iphone and touch only got an i phone no pad
Paul said on February 17, 2012
can you make this for other devices (windows phone 7, android, etc..)
Natalia said on February 17, 2012
Great! Now I only need to spare 519$ plus tax to play the free card game.
It’s actually tempting, to be honest. Would be the first thing I get if I ever got my hands on an iPad.

Woah! Really?! Embers. Wish they ported this to android.
I really liked the “giant” cards that they gave away at E3 2012. If they released ALL the cards, I’d definitely go on a collecting streak like it was 1996.
