I think that they may do the same thing as Revelations, they made the battle trailer with the music, then they had Ezio talking in an extended version where he put the rope around the Templars neck and dove into a crevAAAS :p So they may add something to this one… maybe him sprinting down the hill and slicing necks on the way and using a body as a sled :p haha if only :3

If you look closely at the screenshots/photos that have already been released, you can clearly see at least one hidden blade mechanism.
The hidden blade and the stylised ‘A’ are integral parts of the AC franchise. I really doubt they’ll just arbitrarily decide to do away with them, especially since, modern day Assassins-ie, Desmond-still have them.

connor looks like ezio and more brutal.. all that raw energy.. i am so gonna like this game. i’m not sure if the animals could be used to lure the guards or anything but i think it would be hilariously fun if connor could send in the bears like mercenaries, eagles to swoop in to steal a few coins and wolves dressed like courtesans to dance in front of the guards while connor sneaks past to pick berries from the bush. guy needs his vitamins.

I love the trailer, but there is one thing I am confused about:
After doing much ‘real world’ research into the Hashshashin and Knights Templar, I found that the KT are part of the Freemasons.
In ACIII You are allied with George Washington, correct? Yet, he is listed as a Freemason. Perhaps my research is incorrect or there is more to be released in terms of the plot of the game, but assuming my research is correct and Connor and GW are allied throughout the game, then surely this is a slight contradiction to the Assassin / Templar war theme that has been consistent throughout?

The article in the April “Gameinformer” does say something about not all the Good guys are good and not all the British are bad…
So perhaps this game will be more focussed on those grey areas, they may still be allies,
even if thier Groups are not…
after all, ultimately, the Assassin’s and Templars are after the same thing
…World peace…
It’s just a question of how morally acceptable your leader thinks killing a whole bunch of people is :p

just remember that some of the facts in real-life history books will not necessarily match with how ubisoft crafted the ac universe. take for example machiavelli and cesare. in real-life, cesare is considered as one of the prime figures of machiavelli when he wrote the prince. in brotherhood, he used ezio. it’s going to be the same with how ubisoft will present characters & settings in ac3.

Most of the facts in real life history books are out of date. The one’s in America’s corner are really out of date. George Washington was never a Mason just because he went to one or two meetings against his will (I say that because he did not like them) does not make him one of them, he did in fact his best to avoid them.
But many things were spooky about the man who could not be killed on the field of battle and Indians said the Great Spirit protected him from harm. Lord I love that man so for being so interesting He is like this character from a fiction novel!

this theory came up to me today: washington may actually be a templar or a templar ally at the start of the game, him being tasked to take a PoE to the new world. however, over time, he began to get in conflict not just with the british but with his templar masters as well him seeing how their methods aren’t the way he envisions the colonies/future usa. he then joins in the declaration of independence not just against the british but also against his templar masters. with the story beginning furing the french & indian war, i am guessing he will encounter connor at that early of a stage and learns something from the assassin thus he decides to cross over to the assassins or become an ally of the assassins.
