breathtaking leap.

What the Templars struggled to do for centuries was finally accomplished in a handful of years merely because of advancing technology and a sleeper agent.

I love how the water is drawn, it’s harder than it seems

I love that leap of faith. Makes sense for the Assassin’s to have somethin around that means they can excape from anywhere in the building XD

final panel: notice the analogy. it’s either the drops of water going into the dark unknown or vice versa. but given the circumstances of the story, it shows how daniel is slowly being pulled into the abyss.

so many things could have happened during the dive. daniel could have bounced off a few balconies along the way, then smashed himself upon rocks (or a pool’s concrete diving platform) before falling into the water and flailing around like Altair did.
but no, he went on to have a career as a model.

haha! if he did fell like that, i’d love to see somebody reliving that memory over and over again.

I want to be able to jump like this that easily u_u Daniel would have been an excellent mentor…
Al said on June 29, 2012
Hm maybe he would’ve been a goof Mentor? But who’s to say that he wouldn’t have been a doubter/deadbeat like Desmond? Maybe if the Templars never effed his mind he would’ve still been a failure. The reason why he acted like some sort of prophet can be attributed in a large part to Abstergo’s tampering. If Lineage Discovery didn’t receive him (which also leads to the question: who gave him to them? Maybe Daniel was an orphan and they just wanted to find out why but got more than they bargained for?), where would he be right now? From the sounds of it, Nikolai seemed to have left the Order when he moved to America because he was tired of the sneaking/stabbing?

What I meant to say is that Daniel might never even have anything to do with the Assassins if LD&A didn’t receive him. Maybe at the end of Chain, Nikolai takes drastic measures to ensure that his daughter goes on not knowing her lineage. Eventually her descendents become dirt farmers or snake charmers…
