Two amazing new Assassin’s Creed III-inspired T-Shirts!
Assassin’s Creed III Bear T-Shirt
In AC III, Connor will roam forests, climb trees, and confront bears. A unique and thrilling experience. The Bear T-Shirt was created with this new frontier in mind – we created a vintage style T-shirt with an evocative image of the confrontation.
Assassin’s Creed III Join or Die T-Shirt
The Join or Die T-Shirt is reminiscent of the most recognizable image of the American Revolutionary War – a snake severed into 8 parts, designed by Benjamin Franklin himself to symbolize the importance of colonial unity as a means of resistance against the British oppression. By bringing together the symbolic snake and the Assassins’ Crest, you can proudly show your support for their respective struggles for freedom, equality, unity, and the end of oppression.

oh goody, more tees!

The one with the bear is awesome 0_0
Lexter said on July 23, 2012
Same , looks cool..
Al said on July 23, 2012
Looks like the buyers are splitting into two parties… Team Snake or Team Bear… Hmmm.
Hey… maybe they should do some kind of promo where whichever shirt sells more will determine what kind of skin dlc they’ll give! The Armor of the Bear or The Scales of the Serpent.
Lexter said on July 23, 2012
that’s a nice idea, though I have a feeling that Connor have an bear armor in game
LooneyTexan said on July 24, 2012
if connor is likened to a wolf, shouldn’t it be more appropriate for him to have “wolf armor” instead of “bear armor”?
Al said on July 24, 2012
Eagle, wolf, and bear combined. He can have a wolf helmet with feathers, bear paws as pauldrons, etc.
Lexter said on July 25, 2012
or I want to see Connor taming animals, specifically wolf.
Then he can use his tamed wolf as a side kick
Al said on July 19, 2012
I’m going with the Snake tee! That thing is nuts!!?!?! :o
Sam said on July 22, 2012
me too!

Cool!!
Anja R. said on July 19, 2012
the snake tee is really cool :D
Lexter said on July 26, 2012
I just really hope they made the snake more detailed.
Al said on July 27, 2012
They could do that but it’d be deviating from the original drawing by Ben. I think that’s what make the snake shirt so cool is because it has that historical context that the franchise is noted for. So as much as a detailed snake would seem like “more” the current design is the real winner.

You know I really hope we’ll get to battle a bear in the game..
Nick Shifler said on July 20, 2012
Good thing we can
Lexter said on July 23, 2012
Yes, Connor Could,
but I believe, killing it isn’t his always option.
Sam said on July 23, 2012
maybe he can make the bear dance with his poison xD
Al said on July 23, 2012
Hopefully the bear is rabid or something… Imagine if it turns out that the bear was a mother trying to protect her two cubs…
Lexter said on July 24, 2012
then game over for Connor…
pedgz said on July 19, 2012
nice tees. i like the join or die one. although…
… isn’t it contradictory to have that phrase associated with the assassins? i thought it was – IS – all about free will? “join or die?” that sounds too dubya for me…
Lina V. said on July 19, 2012
If by Dubya, you mean George Washington.. then yes!
No, but seriously, the American Revolution was based on the idea that colonial unity was the only way to end the oppression! Same goes for the Assassins
pluc said on July 19, 2012
Could also be seen as.. well, if you’re not an Assassin – or fighting for the Assassins, there’s a fair chance you’ll end up on the wrong side of a hidden blade.
Al said on July 20, 2012
Could be that desperate times called for desperate actions. Or might be a slogan from a radical assassin. Also sometimes Ezio will use some intimidation/subterfuge to coerce people for information or to make them do the “right” thing.
dylan frim said on July 20, 2012
you need to understand the context of the phrase.
it was used as propganda to have the different colonies to join together against the kings rules.
so in order for them to be free colonies they had to all work together as one or else their cause would fail miserably, so either you join the cause for freedom….or “die” (figuratively and/or physically)
Al said on July 21, 2012
I think I prefer “Give me Liberty or give me Death!” because it sounds like the individual declares this willingly.
Which isn’t to say that the JoD shirt is a bad idea; it looks cool! It’s just that JoD sounds like some sorta ultimatum (ie If you don’t join us you’ll lose your freedom is the kindest way of putting it). One of the things they always stress in the games is that a person should find the truth themselves, that they should make the decision themselves, and that even if you tell them the truth or give them certain options they are (or prefer to be) blind to it.
pedgz said on July 22, 2012
which is exactly the contradiction to the concept of free will. free will is about letting someone else decide for themselves without fear of retaliation or threat of death. like i said, it sounds too dubya for me as when he declared “you’re either with us or against us.” and we all know he’s a templar puppet in this universe.
bah… eventually one of you will point me to the three ironies anyway…
Al said on July 22, 2012
Yep, the assassins made a poor choice of words when they went with JoD. Kinda ironic that Ben was the one who wrote it, but a couple years later starts to “make love, not war” with some French ladies. He should’ve thought of that first.
MysticHeero said on July 20, 2012
oooh I can’t decide between them. I like both…. though I do admit I the bear one amuses me.
LooneyTexan said on July 20, 2012
buy both
less of a headache
Lexter said on July 26, 2012
The bear also amuse me, and if you look closely you will see connor, kind of cool concept.
Al said on July 26, 2012
You mean someone could’ve missed Connor?
Oh well it does look like the bear ingested him. Or maybe someone shaved the bear’s fur with Connor’s pic.
Lexter said on July 26, 2012
yeah Kind of..
when I first saw it, it’s just an image of a bear, Connor’s Legs/feet was not even there, so it’s only a figure of a bear,
but overall, it’s a nice art.
LooneyTexan said on July 20, 2012
is connor scratching its pits and it’s yawning in bliss or is he tickling the bear and it’s laughing? i’d love to get the shirt but i want to have the right answer should someone ask me the question when i am wearing it.
arthead said on July 20, 2012
ha ha ha Actually, Connor is stabbing the Bear with his hidden Blade
Al said on July 20, 2012
True, he’s stabbing a laughing bear because it only tickles! Yep, that’s what you should say if people ask you.
annonymous said on July 20, 2012
I wish I had the confidence to wear these outside my house.
Al said on July 21, 2012
See what it says at the top? “Courage is your only option.”
pedgz said on July 22, 2012
your neighbourhood has anti-ac sentiments? pro-templar/pro-abstergo?
Sam said on July 26, 2012
remember: nothing is true, everything is permitted. you should not listen to what the society is says, do what you want, wear what you want! have courage!

I really like the “Join or Die” t-shirt. Looks bad ass
