It’s 2.75 inches in width, that’s not large enough to hold a game bookshelf style. However.. it may be possible to fit all 4 games in if you double them up facing flush with the length of the envelope/box.
Ah, but don’t underestimate the powers of the twcb! If there was a child it’s probably no more than 2-3 months old which means you’d need a microscope to see it (ie, the blade probably missed the kid). And in the presence of Juno, she may’ve deemed the child worthy of saving. I believe they’ve methods of rejuvenating life (eg: the shroud that was used to revitalize Lucrezia’s baby).
Usually that would be the case. But I was implying that the twcb might have other technologies we’re not aware of (yet) that may help a fetus survive/mature in any enviroment other than a real womb. Possibly even methods to “speed” up the growth of the kid.
But it was TWCB who made Desmond stab Lucy to begin with…. so I highly doubt they’d do that and thn go on to save any potential chiuld – they would have just waited until the child was born or viable and then had Desmond stab her..
Juno wished to murder Lucy at that point, true. More than likely because she was a Templar and would’ve sabatoged Desmond’s mission. If this is true, then Lucy had to die at all costs and as soon as possible! And because the world was going to end in 1-2 months they couldn’t afford to let Lucy live and carry the child (it usually takes 10-12 months before a female human goes into labor). So why not kill her then then save the kid? Assuming Lucy was guilty and there’s even a child.
Er, hiw did this turn into a discussion about a baby anyway? I was just talking about using Desmond’s dna in Abstergo agents or cloning him.
thing is, nobody really knows if something happened between lucy and desmond, and nobody knows what lucy did during those bits where she was missing at the middle of the acb modern era story.
still, it’s all theory.
now that new info has had light shed on it, I think that when Lucy was missing in ACB, she was probably on the phone to vidic or giving the Templars Desmond’s animus tapes. You should really go to AC initiates site, new modern day fiction gets released at the same time in real life as it did in the game, pretty cool stuff indeed…
DESMOND STATUETTE! My life would be complete. FTW!
i literally would not be able to contain my excitement so ill just spare you all of the caps locked explanations and say that that would be truly, beyond awesome…
it had better be legendary. If it contains a flag, statue, all single player extra content, belt buckle, sound tracks, encyclopedia, comic, medallion, george washington’s journal and all other extra bonus stuff from current editions, i will cancel my limited edition pre order and get it. otherwise, i’ll stick to what i have already pre ordered.
Oh sorry, i forgot some words, was typing this on my iPhone while watching Bleach (anime).
I’ll re-write my post:

Why are you people so excited about this box? and the news msg doesn’t say anything, except for there is coming good news and the box seems to be part of it (the UBS Edition).
+ the UBS Edition is not that interesting (except for the all-in-one comic).
For $99 shipped, it’s a great bargain for both the Second Edition Encyclopedia and both The Fall/The Chain (which are in an combined volume!) Shipping alone Internationally for those books would be ridiculous.
But then you also get the game, and a lovely box. It’s all just very good value for money.
its cheaper to get the game 2nd ed encyclopedia combined plus the chan /fall that is only availible in this ed and the box and hopefully the litho wich cost so little to produce but would be a major selling point to many
Altho your both correct, my point being is that the UWS Edition is (almost, meaning the comic) not original at all.
When looking at the (EU) Join or Die, Freedom and (US) Limited Edition.
Those Edition’s are very unique because they contain items that will never and ever be sold seperately (incase it’s on eBay, that does not count).
Altho the UWS Edition is not bad (ill probably pre-order it anyway, along side the Freedom Edition), it doesn’t even have any DLC (altho that is not a big problem) + it has no unique items.
Like for example the AC Coin from Conner + the Journal in the Join or Die Edition.
PS: the ACIII figurine for pre-order on UBIshop is not the same one as the Freedom Edition.
I don’t wanna look like i’m complaining, just wanna put out some facts (atleast, to me they are).
+ I just can’t fully understand why so many are so over-excited about this Edition.
UbiWorkshop is a division of Ubisoft afterall and in my opinion they could have thought of a better Edition in my opinion.
hence, the other editions, as presented by, oh! – ubisoft’s marketing division!
for some people, as much as they want to get the other editions, they cannot afford those other editions already announced. add the shipping and most likely, custom fees and maybe it’s not really worth it. plus, having a game that may not be playable in their part of the world if they don’t live in europe. the game included in this one is, however, region-free as ubiworkshop claims. people have a choice on which edition to choose, and the folks here are simply showing their appreciation for the efforts of ubiworkshop in providing them an alternative to some of the other editions that can be harder for them to get. ubiworkshop merely added an additional incentive in the form of a stylized box – which is, again, as they claim, just part of a bigger surprise later on. one edition has no advantage over another- it’s all good. each is unique in its own kind, and everyone has a choice of which edition(s) to buy. so, go ahead, get over-excited, and enjoy your freedom edition, or join or die edition, or the us edition, or even this, the ubiworkshop edition. if not, then, don’t. no need to bring it down simply because it doesn’t live up to your standard of uniqueness.
after all, it’s all about free will.
nothing is true. everything is permitted.
Flip the table around and you’ll see that quite a few fans don’t care about statues or medallions. They’re probably wondering the same thing: “what’s so special about the statue and medallion?” They are cheap toys afyer all.
The UWE contains the bare essentials for any lore fan at a very affordable price. But I’ll be getting everything too.
Well, only thing ill respond to that (to avoid mad faces) is that the PS3 has always been Region Free, they are the same World-Wide as far as i know (except for PSN)
——————————————————————– @v1sav1s:
You are totally correct on that, we all have the free choice of what someone’s wants to buy and what they like to admire.
I’m just someone who likes to get anything related to AC, as long it’s Official branded by Ubisoft, but i don’t expect everyone to be like that or have that kind of interest, i was just wondering and that’s0 my final word about that.
well, from the looks of everything you posted above, you do sound like you’re complaining. but hey! since you want to get all official AC stuff – and this one’s by ubisoft’s ubiworkshop division – why don’t you just shut up and buy it? if you don’t, then like i said, no need to bring it down simply because it doesn’t live up to your standard of uniqueness or its status as an official product.
Here is hoping it is a version with all the DLC and season pass! I would love the books but I really want all the single player DLC (I would get the PS3 version). Fingers crossed so I can justify this purchase!
SO stoked. My WONDERFUL girlfriend preordered this for me back when it was $99. Can’t wait to read the comic, and this box looks SICK. I agree with what someone said earlier; it’ll be nice if this can hold the games… but either way. Amazing. You guys really do offer great products, keep up the good work! Je vous remercie beaucoup! Ubiworkshop, je t’aime!
So the current hype going around with most of my AC friends is that hopefully this edition will contain a statue. LOL. I wish. Perhaps one day in the future that will be in production.
But I’m hoping that it does not include the same content as the Limited Edition because I’m preordering it as soon as my GameStop opens back up from Hurricane Isaac. Lol.
Since the announcment of the George Washington Notebook/Journal, that edition is simply one I can pass up.
But neither is this one. I’m excited to see what UbiWorkshop has in store.
According to my friends calculations, the announcement may very well be September 2nd because that’s when is introduced to the animus and starts to relive the life of . So an appropriate and symbolic way of an announcement.
EXCITED FOR WHATEVER YOU’VE GOT PLANNED UBIWORKSHOP! BRING IT ON!!!!! XD
well, I hope so, but sept 2nd is sunday, probably next week, Thurs they will announce it.
But I really hope they will include new content/s on the edition. I guess to be legendary, A comic, encyclopedia and a collector box is not enough.
but to the size of that collector box, the only item that they can include is an exclusive Lithograph of Desmond..
It’s been 8 days since this announcement….a little over a week…and when I tell you I’ve been checking this site everyday for news…I mean I’ve been checking this website site everyday.
Hope we get to find out sooner than later…
I also hope y’all didn’t plan to tease us and then have us waiting and shaking in our boots until at least half a month (15 days) has passed…
I don’t think there’s going to be any more content added. If they put any more content in then they’ll have to charge way more than the $100/E80. If they could sneak in the Mayan Temple and Ghost of War DLC then I’m sold
