Something great is coming.
Stay tuned and you will discover why our ACIII Ubi Workshop Edition will be AWESOME !
pedgz said on August 28, 2012
if that box can fit all my ac games inside, i’m a happy man.
Lily said on August 28, 2012
that woul dbe sweeeet
André Silva said on August 28, 2012
now that would be very cool
Al said on August 28, 2012
Assuming AC3 is the last game, then it might just do that, pedgz!
Tim said on August 29, 2012
It’s 2.75 inches in width, that’s not large enough to hold a game bookshelf style. However.. it may be possible to fit all 4 games in if you double them up facing flush with the length of the envelope/box.
Sam said on August 30, 2012
actually i think you can fit 8 games in the box
André Silva said on September 1, 2012
I have a feeling that AC3 won’t be the last game
George Ashton B. said on September 5, 2012
ACIII is sooooooo amazing!!!
Everything is permitted…..
Sam said on September 5, 2012
and nothing is true, hehe If they say they will not do any more AC games, then do not trust them ;)
mortalmonday said on August 28, 2012
Awesome! Looks like I’m gonna have to order this.
No, this can’t be! Finally proof that Abstergo is researching how to replicate Desmond’s first civ dna! Or maybe make clones of him…
pedgz said on August 29, 2012
i remember a theory somebody at the ac wiki came up – re: lucy pregnant with desmond’s child. coud it be true?!
LooneyTexan said on August 29, 2012
lucy is dead, no? he stabbed her in the stomach.. so if there really was a fetus, the fetus would have been on the other end of the hidden blade.
Al said on August 29, 2012
Ah, but don’t underestimate the powers of the twcb! If there was a child it’s probably no more than 2-3 months old which means you’d need a microscope to see it (ie, the blade probably missed the kid). And in the presence of Juno, she may’ve deemed the child worthy of saving. I believe they’ve methods of rejuvenating life (eg: the shroud that was used to revitalize Lucrezia’s baby).
a 2-3 month old fetus cannot survive outside. it is not fully formed.
lucrezia’s baby was a baby. not a fetus.
Usually that would be the case. But I was implying that the twcb might have other technologies we’re not aware of (yet) that may help a fetus survive/mature in any enviroment other than a real womb. Possibly even methods to “speed” up the growth of the kid.
MysticHeero said on August 29, 2012
But it was TWCB who made Desmond stab Lucy to begin with…. so I highly doubt they’d do that and thn go on to save any potential chiuld – they would have just waited until the child was born or viable and then had Desmond stab her..
Juno wished to murder Lucy at that point, true. More than likely because she was a Templar and would’ve sabatoged Desmond’s mission. If this is true, then Lucy had to die at all costs and as soon as possible! And because the world was going to end in 1-2 months they couldn’t afford to let Lucy live and carry the child (it usually takes 10-12 months before a female human goes into labor). So why not kill her then then save the kid? Assuming Lucy was guilty and there’s even a child.
Er, hiw did this turn into a discussion about a baby anyway? I was just talking about using Desmond’s dna in Abstergo agents or cloning him.
thing is, nobody really knows if something happened between lucy and desmond, and nobody knows what lucy did during those bits where she was missing at the middle of the acb modern era story.
still, it’s all theory.
Rupert Bootes said on October 2, 2012
now that new info has had light shed on it, I think that when Lucy was missing in ACB, she was probably on the phone to vidic or giving the Templars Desmond’s animus tapes. You should really go to AC initiates site, new modern day fiction gets released at the same time in real life as it did in the game, pretty cool stuff indeed…
Laura Espinoza Paniagua said on August 28, 2012

Looks very, very interesting

I cannot wait to hear the news. Seeing this alone gets my hopes up.
Miles File…we aren’t getting EXTRA content are we?
Lexter said on August 29, 2012
I just hope they include lithograph of Desmond.
Lily said on August 29, 2012
YES thats what im talking about a litho of desmond indeed please
Fae said on August 29, 2012
Oh my god, this. Please.
I missed the memo…lithograph?
Lexter said on August 30, 2012
On their post: “Something great is coming”
I think they will surprise us with something more for this edition to be legendary.
David Donohue said on September 5, 2012
maybe an abstergo dossier on desmond
that would be epic
DESMOND STATUETTE! My life would be complete. FTW!
i literally would not be able to contain my excitement so ill just spare you all of the caps locked explanations and say that that would be truly, beyond awesome…
Nothing is true, everything is permitted.
it had better be legendary. If it contains a flag, statue, all single player extra content, belt buckle, sound tracks, encyclopedia, comic, medallion, george washington’s journal and all other extra bonus stuff from current editions, i will cancel my limited edition pre order and get it. otherwise, i’ll stick to what i have already pre ordered.
Danny Cifuentes said on August 29, 2012
that would be the most awesome edition ever. i would pay almost anything for that !!!!!!!!!!!
No way. That’s insanity. The belt buckle is definitely on my DO NOT WANT list.
A statue would be beautiful.
i would definitely order that one immediately.
Great! This is the announcement that I’ve been waiting since the beginning.
Michael Vincent said on August 29, 2012
I’d buy this on two conditions:
You include the limited edition swag, or ALL OF IT from international releases (Live or Die/Freedom editions) even if the price is higher.
Secondly, no French text on the packaging, I only collect US games.
pedgz said on August 30, 2012
you’re asking a French videogame company not to put French text in their games?
Laura Espinoza Paniagua said on August 30, 2012
I want that box…. I really do want that box.
Daniel Niszcz said on August 29, 2012
Buying it. I hope it comes in PC.
There’s an option you can select for PC Users. Athough it will not come out October 30th. A few weeks after actually.

Maurice said on August 29, 2012
Why are you proppen zo exc
Why are you people so excited about this box? and the MSG exactly nothing.
+ the UBS Edition is not that interesting (the all-in-one comic).
PS: Sorry on my previous post, that was fail post of this one.
Oh sorry, i forgot some words, was typing this on my iPhone while watching Bleach (anime).
I’ll re-write my post:
Why are you people so excited about this box? and the news msg doesn’t say anything, except for there is coming good news and the box seems to be part of it (the UBS Edition).
+ the UBS Edition is not that interesting (except for the all-in-one comic).
For $99 shipped, it’s a great bargain for both the Second Edition Encyclopedia and both The Fall/The Chain (which are in an combined volume!) Shipping alone Internationally for those books would be ridiculous.
But then you also get the game, and a lovely box. It’s all just very good value for money.
its cheaper to get the game 2nd ed encyclopedia combined plus the chan /fall that is only availible in this ed and the box and hopefully the litho wich cost so little to produce but would be a major selling point to many
Altho your both correct, my point being is that the UWS Edition is (almost, meaning the comic) not original at all.
When looking at the (EU) Join or Die, Freedom and (US) Limited Edition.
Those Edition’s are very unique because they contain items that will never and ever be sold seperately (incase it’s on eBay, that does not count).
Altho the UWS Edition is not bad (ill probably pre-order it anyway, along side the Freedom Edition), it doesn’t even have any DLC (altho that is not a big problem) + it has no unique items.
Like for example the AC Coin from Conner + the Journal in the Join or Die Edition.
PS: the ACIII figurine for pre-order on UBIshop is not the same one as the Freedom Edition.
I don’t wanna look like i’m complaining, just wanna put out some facts (atleast, to me they are).
+ I just can’t fully understand why so many are so over-excited about this Edition.
UbiWorkshop is a division of Ubisoft afterall and in my opinion they could have thought of a better Edition in my opinion.
hence, the other editions, as presented by, oh! – ubisoft’s marketing division!
for some people, as much as they want to get the other editions, they cannot afford those other editions already announced. add the shipping and most likely, custom fees and maybe it’s not really worth it. plus, having a game that may not be playable in their part of the world if they don’t live in europe. the game included in this one is, however, region-free as ubiworkshop claims. people have a choice on which edition to choose, and the folks here are simply showing their appreciation for the efforts of ubiworkshop in providing them an alternative to some of the other editions that can be harder for them to get. ubiworkshop merely added an additional incentive in the form of a stylized box – which is, again, as they claim, just part of a bigger surprise later on. one edition has no advantage over another- it’s all good. each is unique in its own kind, and everyone has a choice of which edition(s) to buy. so, go ahead, get over-excited, and enjoy your freedom edition, or join or die edition, or the us edition, or even this, the ubiworkshop edition. if not, then, don’t. no need to bring it down simply because it doesn’t live up to your standard of uniqueness.
after all, it’s all about free will.
nothing is true. everything is permitted.
Al said on August 30, 2012
That’s alright! We all have our preferences.
Flip the table around and you’ll see that quite a few fans don’t care about statues or medallions. They’re probably wondering the same thing: “what’s so special about the statue and medallion?” They are cheap toys afyer all.
The UWE contains the bare essentials for any lore fan at a very affordable price. But I’ll be getting everything too.
Maurice said on August 30, 2012
Well, only thing ill respond to that (to avoid mad faces) is that the PS3 has always been Region Free, they are the same World-Wide as far as i know (except for PSN)
You are totally correct on that, we all have the free choice of what someone’s wants to buy and what they like to admire.
I’m just someone who likes to get anything related to AC, as long it’s Official branded by Ubisoft, but i don’t expect everyone to be like that or have that kind of interest, i was just wondering and that’s0 my final word about that.
well, i agree with v1sav1s and pedgz, but my problem is that i want exactly everything, so i don’t now what to buy, hehe XD
pedgz said on September 1, 2012
well, from the looks of everything you posted above, you do sound like you’re complaining. but hey! since you want to get all official AC stuff – and this one’s by ubisoft’s ubiworkshop division – why don’t you just shut up and buy it? if you don’t, then like i said, no need to bring it down simply because it doesn’t live up to your standard of uniqueness or its status as an official product.
kawaiiassassin said on August 29, 2012
Oooooo! Christmaz already??? (AC)
Matthew said on August 29, 2012
switched my limited edition to this instead. if there’s more to come i definately want this version!
i’m gonna buy this when i have enough money
I hope you don’t miss this opportunity! The stuff from UW have a tendency of going out of stock just before we finally do have enough money!
yeah, i now. i have at-least preordered the freedom edition . i think i can borrow some money today
Alfa Cea said on August 30, 2012
Last night I was so happy when I pre-ordered this edition, now I’m even MORE happy! HOW EXITING!
Mark said on August 30, 2012
Here is hoping it is a version with all the DLC and season pass! I would love the books but I really want all the single player DLC (I would get the PS3 version). Fingers crossed so I can justify this purchase!
Cloud Foxwell said on August 30, 2012
SO stoked. My WONDERFUL girlfriend preordered this for me back when it was $99. Can’t wait to read the comic, and this box looks SICK. I agree with what someone said earlier; it’ll be nice if this can hold the games… but either way. Amazing. You guys really do offer great products, keep up the good work! Je vous remercie beaucoup! Ubiworkshop, je t’aime!
Greg Harris said on September 1, 2012
So the current hype going around with most of my AC friends is that hopefully this edition will contain a statue. LOL. I wish. Perhaps one day in the future that will be in production.
But I’m hoping that it does not include the same content as the Limited Edition because I’m preordering it as soon as my GameStop opens back up from Hurricane Isaac. Lol.
Since the announcment of the George Washington Notebook/Journal, that edition is simply one I can pass up.
But neither is this one. I’m excited to see what UbiWorkshop has in store.
According to my friends calculations, the announcement may very well be September 2nd because that’s when is introduced to the animus and starts to relive the life of . So an appropriate and symbolic way of an announcement.
EXCITED FOR WHATEVER YOU’VE GOT PLANNED UBIWORKSHOP! BRING IT ON!!!!! XD
Lexter said on September 1, 2012
well, I hope so, but sept 2nd is sunday, probably next week, Thurs they will announce it.
But I really hope they will include new content/s on the edition. I guess to be legendary, A comic, encyclopedia and a collector box is not enough.
but to the size of that collector box, the only item that they can include is an exclusive Lithograph of Desmond..
Forgive me for sounding highly noobish but…..lithograph?
Are we talking like Carte Blanche Pages that we received if we got the 1st edition Encyclopedia?
Or is it realistically a statue? I have no idea what it is….
Lexter said on September 3, 2012
Yes you are right.
Greg Harris said on September 9, 2012
Thanks a bunch!
Al said on September 3, 2012
Or a pillowcase with Desmond’s face printed on it. Or the eagle on his hoodie embroidered on there.
Interesting ideas. Guess I’ll have to wait and see. Lol.
Anja R. said on September 3, 2012
looks great, hope you’ll post some photos of this one later when it’s done!
Greg Harris said on September 5, 2012
It’s been 8 days since this announcement….a little over a week…and when I tell you I’ve been checking this site everyday for news…I mean I’ve been checking this website site everyday.
Hope we get to find out sooner than later…
I also hope y’all didn’t plan to tease us and then have us waiting and shaking in our boots until at least half a month (15 days) has passed…
Lexter said on September 6, 2012
And the picture was only ANOTHER TEASE. Especially since they said,
“Hi. Something you will find within our ACIII edition. More info coming soon…”
I’m beginning to HATE the word SOON. lol.
Sam said on September 9, 2012
hehe, me to, but SOON we’ll know ;)
Mark Keane said on September 7, 2012
I don’t think there’s going to be any more content added. If they put any more content in then they’ll have to charge way more than the $100/E80. If they could sneak in the Mayan Temple and Ghost of War DLC then I’m sold
Sam said on September 7, 2012
well i don’t think they are lying for us. something special that we don’t know will be in there i think, but i guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Greg Harris said on September 7, 2012
Well the North American Limited Edition added it’s George Washington Journal for free so it’s definitely a possibility for additional content.
It has to be for it to be “legendary”
Lexter said on September 8, 2012
Saw this post of ubiworkshop facebook page
Thanks for the update bud! Interesting picture. So I’m feeling…..artbook?
Lexter said on September 10, 2012
Could be, well artbook of Desmond is not bad.
Ciprian said on September 10, 2012
Is this the box with the “Mosaics”?
Cloud Foxwell said on September 12, 2012
Indeed it is. Game, 2nd edition encyclopaedia, graphic novel, and whatever the mosaics are going to end up being. I did have it confirmed (via UbiWorkshop) that there will be no DLC missions or anything included. Kind of upset about that, but I also have the CE preordered through Gamestop.
Aaron Hurwitz said on September 18, 2012
What else is coming?!?!?!? I already Preordered my Collectors Edition from GameStop for the Connor Statue and the American flag. You are going to make me spend more money for this too……
