PS3 only?!?! come on…
Al said on October 6, 2012
Sony and Ubi have a very special agreement. It was forged during the first game and soon became apparent during the AC2-B era. I’m afraid this simple flirting may soon turn into a blatant elopement.
Michael Vincent said on October 6, 2012
This was done because the AC series is an Xbox series, it’s a port to Ps3. Ubisoft starting giving extra content as an apology for the Ps3 versions being so inferior.
It angers me to no end since I play the series on Xbox.
Pasta said on October 6, 2012
Actually, I’m pretty sure the AC series started out on PS3 (This has been debated many times on r/assassinscreed) and Ubisoft just added it to Xbox since Xbros kept complaining.
THAT’S why PS3 gets these exclusives, because Ubisoft likes them better.
Kyle Lyon said on October 7, 2012
Yeah that’s not really true. AC was supposed to be a PS3 exclusive as a remember from 05 or 06. Every gameplay demo at e3 since AC2 they have used a PS3. I think Sony also contributes ad dollars because most commercials I see are playstation branded.

Assassin’s Creed 1 was a PS3 exclusive that was delayed and went multiplatform after the PS3 flopped at launch in the west.
AC2 and ACB were 360 titles that got bad ports to PS3 and PC that were eventually patched up to match 360′s quality.
Revelations was developed simultaneously on 360 and PS3.
Now, with regard to exclusive DLC, Sony pays developers for that and or offers them free development support. It’s been a long term ongoing thing for Sony to buy DLC exclusivity so that they can brag about it.
Examples include: Batman Arkham Asylum, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed III, 007 Legends, Far Cry 3, Street Fighter X Tekken, The Amazing Spiderman, Rocksmith, Mafia II, Battlefield 3, Mirror’s Edge, Red Dead Redemption, Mortal Kombat, etc…
Jason E Smith said on October 22, 2012
Assassin’s Creed was first developed for PS3 in 2006 when the PS3 first came out. It was not Ported to Xbox till almost a year later 2007 as they did not think that Xbox was a next generation console. Xbox users can be upset all they want, but the only reason their playing on an Xbox 360 in the first place is because they can not afford a PS3. AnvilNext was also developed for PS3 and run a lot smoother, I’m afraid Xbox users are going to find they wish they were play AcIII on PS3.
uniquex said on October 31, 2012
That is not true, I have two xbox 360, I could easily afford
a PS3, and you don´t have to be so rude, talk for yourself
I don´t wish to play ACIII on a PS3, AC2 and ACB sucked
in it.
uniquex said on October 31, 2012
hahaha just kidding, it is still an amazing game so just
play it and enjoy it
marz76 said on October 29, 2012
Ubisost knows the closet thing to the next gen console isnt xbox its PS3. 360 has dropped the ball all year with every game that came out every game from sports, action, adventure games. 360 has caused issues from freeze issues, making console reset, massive patches, frame rate issues t

Xavier said on October 5, 2012
Hello there. Yes the 60 min are PS3 only… sorry but the Ubi Workshop is available in XBOX / PS3 and PC versions. And we ship WORLDWIDE (free shipping by the way)
Timothy said on October 5, 2012
so wantthis probably wont happen though
Mark Keane said on October 5, 2012
Please tell me the box is not made from cardboard, very flimsy if it is!
Al said on October 5, 2012
Looks like it was revised (the flap and rope have been removed?). The box looks better than I hoped for!
Xavier said on October 5, 2012
The box is made of chipboard 24pts FSC certified and it still has the flap and rope but it is on the backside and it is red !
Rupert Bootes said on October 5, 2012
“5 extremely rare prints” oh great! But how big are they?
Lexter said on October 6, 2012
Awesome,, now I’m satisfied with the collectors box.
Rupert Bootes said on October 5, 2012
Is it just me or does the ps3 a always get completely unfair extras over Xbox?
In AC Brotherhood there were special Copernicus missions, in AC revelations it came with a freaking free copy of AC1!!!
and now ps3 owners are getting an extra hour of missions to do? What could the mass of Xbox population possibly have done to deserve this? Is it biased? Are Sony paying you to make ps3 extras? We want the truth!! At e3 the first ever gameplay demo was don on a ps3 (ok fine, it had to be ONE of them) and the Xbox edition is shipping on 2 discs (ok fine it’s a technical thing) but still who else agrees with me?
Wolf said on October 5, 2012
Not always. It depends on the game and the game developers.
Case in point- Bethesda with Skyrim and the Dawnguard DLC. They say they can’t make it work on the PS3, so we’ll likely never get it, yet it’s been released for Xbox and PC.
Reuben Rupapere said on October 5, 2012
Revelations only had Assassin’s Creed on the PS3 disk because there was space, as opposed to the Xbox’s disk which is much smaller. I believe PS3 gets exclusives because Ubisoft have a deal with Playstation, and I think it was just a rumor but apparently Assassin’s Creed was originally set to be a Playstation exclusive and now Ubisoft feels sorry for them
Lily said on October 7, 2012
It was originally only announced for ps3 then something changed
http://www.1up.com/news/assassin-creed-exclusive
pedgz said on October 6, 2012
yes, it is frustrating, but in the end, it all serves ubisoft’s purpose…
Cloud Foxwell said on October 6, 2012
Also the exclusives aren’t always must-haves anyway. The Copernicus missions really didn’t matter much, I played them. They didn’t add to the story, they were just run here and do this then come back kinda stuff. I don’t think Ubi would include anything important that wasn’t on both systems.
Lily said on October 7, 2012
They get the extras because there is apace for them on the discs to have extras, simples
Lily said on October 5, 2012
So we have to buy the 2nd edition encyclopedia for the new carte blanches
Lexter said on October 6, 2012
I believe it is also included.
isn’t? @Hassan-i_Sabbah
Sam said on October 7, 2012
yes, it is
Monkey540 said on October 31, 2012
Apparently they were not included as my package came with NO carte blanche. Just the Encyclopedia, 5 part Mosiac, Graphic Novel and game
Mark Navarrete said on October 5, 2012
I can’t believe most of the comments above sound like they’re disappointed. I thought this was excellent value for the price! Free worldwide shipping!?! 5 rare “Mosaic” prints!?! Now, bonus game content will be included after all!?! THIS IS AWESOME NEWS!!!
THANK YOU, UBIWORKSHOP!!! :D
pedgz said on October 6, 2012
because it is human nature to always look and complain for something that is not there instead of be thankful for what is being given. in a world where the saying “beggars can’t be choosers” is still very much applicable, one can now add: “the privileged seek more entitlement.”
LooneyTexan said on October 6, 2012
how true. i see that all the time at work.
Aaron said on October 6, 2012
I’m not really complaining, it’s just one of those things, like argg
. I pre-ordered it the second it was announced, it’s still a really great package, and can’t wait until October 30th!!
Michael Cambra said on October 13, 2012
wait, so i’m confused.. if we ordered it when it was announced, do we not get the stuff that was just recently revealed?
Wolf said on October 8, 2012
It IS an execellant value for all that you get.
Unfortunately, I need to wait until next week, as I can’t afford to preorder it this week. I already preordered the game via Best Buy, but I can stand to lose 5.00 to save over 30.00 for a bunch of extra stuff. Especially since I already planned on ordering the enclyclopedia.
pedgz said on October 6, 2012
1. ahhh.. finally got to see the final product. i look forward to my pre-order in my doorstep.
2. glad the news blog is up and running again.
3. thank you, ubiworkshop.
Michael Vincent said on October 6, 2012
So overall the only thing unique is the box and five cards since everything else is sold separately? Would a customer get all of the *cough*rip-off*cough* DLC that is scattered throughout five retailers since you’re buying the game direct from the developer?
Michael Vincent said on October 6, 2012
Testing… Comments aren’t going through….
Lexter said on October 6, 2012
it is, but got some delays.
MysticHeero said on October 6, 2012
I want the box, the print and the Subject 4 book (even though its just the Fall and the Chain combined and I already have them both). I already have everything else on pre-order.
Cloud Foxwell said on October 6, 2012
Regardless of what anyone says, this is going to be awesome. Great value if you, like myself, plan on getting the game, the encyclopedia and graphic novels anyway. Yeah, I have the North American LE preordered also, but I can’t wait for either one!
LooneyTexan said on October 7, 2012
i cancelled my regular game for the PS3 bundle. it’s time to upgrade my 80gb to a 500gb anyway
Pedro said on October 7, 2012
It would be great but I prefer to wait for the last edition of the encyclopaedia instead of constantly buy edition after edition
Sam said on October 7, 2012
but maybe this one is the last one
James Darley said on October 7, 2012
I’m currently torn between keeping my pre-order for the “Join or Die” or ordering the UbiWorkshop edition.
@Hassan-i_Sabbah – Does the UbiWorkshop edition of the game come with any special edition DLC, or is it just the standard retail edition?
Danny Cifuentes said on October 8, 2012
im crazy about the prints lol
Lexter said on October 8, 2012
me too,, can’t wait to see the last design..

60 exta mins Only On PS3?!, Please Tell me How “Nothing is true, and Everything is permitted” that is! Sony are Templars! (templar) (Abstergo) and they get that at same price! -__-
Al said on October 9, 2012
That’s… not what the Creed means. Assuming it was, then I could say use it likewise and invalidate what you said.
But fortunately, that’s incorrect.
I just prefer not to see our Creed used so lightly.
Uday Kanwar said on October 9, 2012
Templar! My Eagle Vision Indicates that you’re a Templar ! XD Jk Safety & Peace Upon you fellow Assassin! x) its just that its kinda unfair for the pc & xbox gamers are getting less for the same price, atleast we should get a dlc or something to extend the 60min gameplay.
Everything is Permitted, justifies my statement, so your invalidation is invalid!
patrick said on November 10, 2012
ah dont cry crybaby be happy you get to play it all on that pathetic game system
know as xbox 360 which scratches game disc and all
Sunny Dhanota said on October 9, 2012
Considering that the series’s was supposed to be ps3 exclusive, it’s only fair Ubisoft gives the ps3 exclusive content. And this edition looks sickkkk

Is this US or UK version?
Joe said on October 25, 2012
Are the 60 minutes of exclusive content for Ps3 represented by the 4 Benedict Arnold Missions or has the UbiWorkshop edition 60 additional minutes of gameplay EXCLUDING the Benedict Arnold Turncoat Missions. Thank you for specifying.
Good Day
David said on October 25, 2012
Will this be delivered on release day? I just noticed that Amazon is now selling this. I can get free release day shipping with prime. Should I cancel here and order there?
frank said on October 25, 2012
Does anyone already got an e-mail that their edition is shipped?
Mark said on October 25, 2012
I will be “living the story” since this ended up seeming like a great deal. Wouldn’t it be cool to get the single player DLC with this since that helps add to the story? Maybe we can suggest getting a DLC code emailed to us shortly after launch? I know I would love to have the “Dangerous Secret,” “Ghost of War,” and “The Lost Mayan Ruins” DLC all together since I cannot get them all at the same time (unless I go through ubi’s website). I would understand not getting “The Tyranny of King Washington” since it is huge (I already pre-ordered the Season Pass). So in summation, it would be an awesome way to live the story if we could get the option to have all the exclusive DLC. Very excited never-the-less.
Bob Shaftoe said on October 27, 2012
Sweet delivery expected on November 2. Can’t wait to play the game 4 days after everyone else. Glad I preordered!
angel rodriguez said on October 30, 2012
wow i could forgive ubiworkshop for the whole delay on the jackets…… but i preordered my ubiworkshop edition assassins creed 3 early and i’m not getting it until friday! what gives?! i really love ubiworkshop but this is honestly a HUGE disappointment….
David said on October 30, 2012
Are you guys getting emails with shipping info? I preordered this on May 31st and still haven’t gotten a shipping confirmation. I knew I should’ve gone with Amazon when they listed this.
Michael said on October 31, 2012
I got an email yesterday telling me my order has been “marked completed” but I have not received a shipping number or any other information.
Thanks Ubisoft. I could have just walked up the street and picked a copy up on release day. I means, seriously, why promise I will have it “on date of release” when you don’t even bother shipping it until that day (or even after because, as I said, I still haven’t gotten a shipping number).
Billy Byrd said on October 31, 2012
Yeah what the heck ubisoft. Everyone else already has the game and i preordered back in july.. i love assassins creed but this is the last time i order from this website.
David said on November 2, 2012
I hope you get the right version of the game. I got mine yesterday and it was a PS3 copy instead of the Xbox 360 one I ordered. I can’t even get them to respond to me to figure out how to correct this.
Carlos said on October 30, 2012
Whats going on? I receive a xbox 360 version instead of the ps3 that I order
Leo DAVINCI said on October 30, 2012
Ubiworkshop, I have pre-ordered the ubiworkshop edition of AC 3 at june 22nd and i was told that you have put the game on mail at october 8th. Today I recieved an e-mail saying that my order is now complete.I just want to know if you guys have put the game on mail today or It arrived today in my city(Rio de Janeiro, Brazil).
nazari said on October 31, 2012
bad bad my friends have the game and play today and me thanks ubi when u send the game????
Fikri_494 said on October 31, 2012
does it shipped for Indonesia to? It says “free shipping worldwide!” right
djpaetkau said on October 31, 2012
Has anybody else received this yet? I got my package in the mail that came complete with everything… except the game. Seriously?? I want the extra stuff, but I want the game to play first before I read all about it in the Encyclopedia. Anybody else know if this is intentional, and the game is supposed to be shipped separately?
kali said on November 1, 2012
That is not intentional. However, there seems to be issues with adding the game to the box, as I (and several others) have received the game for the wrong console …
David said on November 1, 2012
Ordered the Xbox 360 version, but received the PS3. This sucks.
David said on November 2, 2012
Is anyone working at Ubiworkshop today? I’ve tried emailing and tweeting customer service and gotten no response. I’d really like to get the correct version of the game so I can start playing it.
Venan said on November 3, 2012
I dunno what you made with the edition, but that was disappointing. At least they answered my e-mail…
Venan said on November 5, 2012
Still waiting…
Billy said on November 5, 2012
I still haven’t even gotten the game, and ups says it isn’t going to be here until Thursday.
Venan said on November 5, 2012
How do you know when it is gonna be there?
David J. Paetkau said on November 7, 2012
At least yours has shipped. They sent me the UbiWorkshop version without the actual game in the box, and while I got a quick initial response that they’ll get me a copy of the game, nothing has come of it since then. I’m about ready to just purchase the game elsewhere and send them a bill for it.
3stun said on November 17, 2012
Is anyone else still waiting for their PS3/Xbox360 Workshop edition to be shipped? It is more than 2 weeks after release – and no shipping notice yet…
Søren said on November 18, 2012
As a pc player I am starting to lose my patience; now waiting for more than 3 weeks and still I can’t get a date from Ubi workshop for when the Ubi workshop edition (pc) will be shipped.
If you buy from retailers or Steam you can start to play 22. november (in Denmark).
As much as I want the encyclopedia and the other stuff, the game is the core product which mean that I am VERY close at terminating my order and purchase the game somewhere else:
PLEASE give a reply
Oleg Zarva said on December 7, 2012
This is absolutely unbelievable.
More than a month after release, and no information about shipping date!
And keeps ignoring my emails.
Never expected something like this from Ubisoft. Took my money, then forgot about me.
