    Will there be an assassins creed 3 beta as has been the case with ACB and ACR on PS3 because the usualy dropped around this time last year

    I usually get an email for the PS3 online beta with my code…haven’t got one yet….probably a couple more weeks if at all ;)

    although i’m in the UK and it’s often a little late anyway…

    if you’re talking about the multiplayer beta for ac3, no, they are not releasing a beta for it.

     

    but that link for the playtesting interests me…

    I wouldn’t enjoy a multiplayer beta anyway. I might be in the minority here, but I don’t even touch the multiplayer until I’ve finished the campaign.

    And I wouldn’t enjoy a campaign beta either. It would drive me insane. Like getting to playtest Borderlands 2 the few times I’ve gotten to. The second I walk in, and I realize I’m playing a game I’m foaming at the mouth for, they basically have to shove me out the door at the end. And it’s all buggy and crap, too. Hahaha. :D

    i still play the mp every now and then. surprised i’m still doing good at it, too. and yes, i finished the sp first before playing the mp, too. as far as i’m concerned, at least with ac3, everybody starts the same time playing the mp without a certain percentage catching a glimpse of it before the rest simply because they (1) own a ps3 and (2) are lucky enough to be part of the beta testers out of all the ps3 owners who wanted to play it.

    I’ve been lucky enough to play all the AC multiplayer Betas but sadly they announced there wouldn’t be a Beta this year as they want to focus on getting it all polished off and that a Beta wouldn’t be helpful this time around (general gist of what they said), so sad news for us.
