    That’s pretty good. Sites like amazon might offer discounts but the money saved can usually only be used for future purchases.

    360 version for sure is region locked and maybe the pc download. I think ps3 is still region free. But ubishop always redirects you to the storefront for the country you order from so you’ll receive a game with a region lock for that country.

    PS3 versions should work on any PS3 system…but as @v1sav1s said you’re always re-directed to your “local” ubishop <_<

    Ubishop.com UK is still offering £10 off your next order when you pre-order AC3 ;)

    however, it may not really be your next order as you will not get the code until the game is shipped to you at the end of October :P

    Kind of wierd that they don’t promote this a little more. I didn’t even know about it till I read this thread and I’m certain that many people only buy the standard and want to save as much as possible. Instead they end up preordering from stores that charge more and get a preorder bonus dlc that ain’t worth $10.

    I followed the link to the Ubi website but can’t find the standard edition. I can only find the Freedom, Join or Die and Special Editions.

    Does the discount only apply to te Standard Edition?

    hmm… it may be a regional thing. you see, i’m automatically redirected to ubi’s north american store. and you know how fortunate us north american-based fans are when it comes to ac special editions, so it may be limited to that location only…

    I just received a feedback from ubisoft customer service with regards to the format of the game (PC Version only) as of now, they don’t have any information regarding future releases, but they will update it on their website.   hopefully, the PC version is region free
