Assassin’s Creed 3 has been nominated for 4 different category (Liberation included)

and Assassin’s Creed III Liberation for: Best Handheld/Mobile Game

awesome. Good luck with that Ubisoft! Shame Watch Dog’s hasn’t recieved any nominations on there.

Watch Dog was pretty neat, and was head and shoulders above the rest, but there wasn’t anything groundbreaking about it! Maybe if they revealed more? But it seems they’re trying to limit one nomination per developer for each category (with the exception of Social/Casual and Sports). Maybe it would look a little funny if Ubisoft had 2-3 games running for Best of Show. :p

I think Watch Dogs came out too late to be nominated.

Was Watchdogs released at E3 as well?

@wolf I believe it was fully unveiled at E3 with the demo they showcased. But people already knew of its existence even before that. AC3 was also announced before E3. But I guess it doesn’t matter when a game is announced as long as it has a presence at E3 it qualifies for a nomination.  

 I can’t remember where I read this but Watch Dogs was actually called something else and belonged to another publisher. But they thought the concept wasn’t viable and sold the rights to Ubisoft. Oopsie?

@v1sav1s I thought no one knew of Watchdogs because Ubisoft were commended for managing to keep it so quite that they took us all by surprise by it. There were rumours they were working on something but nothing identifiable.

And well done Ubisoft for getting the “Best Action Game” and “Best Vita Game”!!!
