    there is one gelato store in firenze, very close to the duomo. they serve excellent gelato. and have some lampredotto while you are there.

    @kuro I wonder if they were thinking clearly when they vandalized it? Maybe they just wanted to show off to friends? Or were they just thinking about how that mark would immortalize their anonymity for all time? Is that something to be proud of… traveling all that way to just vandalize something so precious? Not cool…

    I’d honestly be curious to know how many tourists went to Italy solely because of the Assassin’s Creed franchise. I thoroughly love that idea.

    i went to italy because it was a childhood wish of visiting pompei. read so much about it i just had to see it… the rest of the locations were just the bonuses.

    My family is from Italy, so for me, it’d be more of a seeing where my family comes from than anything.

    I went to Italy about 10 years ago. It was really fun playing AC2 and climbing buildings I saw in real life.

     

    @looneytexan Lemons in Pompei were the best lemons I’ve had in my whole life!

     

    @pluc I heard a story about a couple of non gamers who tried AC2 as their first game and loved it so much they planned a trip to Italy to visit all the different cities and important locations from the game.
