well its the biggest game of the series so i think it will be super long if your also do all side-quests.  :-D

@assassinace What I meant is they should make 100% mandatory. Now someone can “mess up” and still continue the mission. In actuality, 100% sync was always part of the series, but now players don’t always have to adhere to it. But I guess they changed it to make the game more accessible.

@sammytheking I like the side-missions but I hope the game doesn’t rely on the side-quests as filler. The biggest filler of them all: MP. :s

I agree with you guys that said you’ve never heard anyone talk about game modes. Everyone talks about what’s going to happen to Desmond. So I think it’s a bit disheartening to hear that so much of the game has been stripped down and that there might be more of a focus on the MP.

That being said, I put in a lot more hours in the ACB multiplayer than I have in the single-player campaign for the rest of the games combined. And I had the rank to show for it. But I would’ve traded all of the hours of that game time if I could have had the next single-player installation sooner. I mean, I play the multiplayer as filler until the next game comes out, to be honest.

Although I do know that at midnight on release day, the MP is already packed. On average, it takes me about 3 days to finish an Assassin’s Creed game in its entirety, with all of the side missions and collectables parts, and after I get on and start playing the MP, there are plenty of people who haven’t even touched the SP. There were people months after Rev was released who still hadn’t touched the SP or completed it. It’s strange to me.

I know it happens in games like CoD, where the average person doesn’t know what the storyline is about, but in AC… it’s weird. To me at least.

Yeah the storyline is one of the most important things in the ac series. So i agree with you generocwit, its wierd to not play the SP.

shorter is better (means they can be produced quicker)
then release Episodic content  charge people for a season pass or per each piece of episodic content, then makes it longer through time ending each piece of dlc with a cliff hanger making you want to buy the next one
eventually making the game as long as it was expected to be in the first place and you are left 3000MSP or more out of pocket

now thats a plan not necessarily a good one but its Ubi’s AC3 plan lets hope it doesn’t ruin the game
