    Just spent 2 hours today vacuuming out my car and scrubbing my matts and cleaning my windows with methalated spirit LOL

    …did the bodywork and wheels yesterday…gotta get it in before the hosepipe ban in april ^_^

     

    anyone else do anything that most people would find tedious…and yet…you loved every minute?

    Saw The Hunger Games tonight.  

     

     I swear, I’m never going to another movie that has tween fans  and is early enough for them to attend.  The near constant play by play chatter behind me was annoying.  

     

    Movie wasn’t bad, I’d say about 75% true to the book.

     

    @jen319 We do that with our CR-V. I’ll spend easily an hour just on the interior.

    off topic.. let’s see… now that we are on the topic of cars, i found a roach on my car fragrance. here i am thinking… does my car fragrance smell that bad? on second thought, does my car smell so bad the roach has to stand on my car fragrance to get a reprieve?

    @wolf the first day i had my car i didn’t have the right insurance document to actually drive it <_<….I spent all day…litterally…from around 9am till about 5pm (it was December and i had the day off, and it got dark long before i was done) cleaning the inside and outside to showroom standard…I’ve tried to keep it that way ever since…I even went to a scrap yard and got some relacement interior trims because some of mine had tiny scratches on them XD…

    I also hate seeing certain films in the cinema <_< …I Love Twilight…don’t hate me :P …but never went to see any of them because all those kids in the back row screaming when certain actors appear….eeeegads…why ruin it for everyone else?…why even pay the £7 to get in if you’re just gonna talk through it…

    also bugs me when parent decide that Harry potter is a kids film thus it’s fine to bring the 2 year old that constantly says “mummy who’d that, mummy what’s he doing”….!!!!AHAAHAHHHHHHHH!!! *rips hair out*

     

    @mysticheero …gosh…that’s tempting LOL exept when it comes to my car, i am a terrible procrastinator  :-$–  my bedroom is an absolute tip XD

     

    LOL @looneytexan perhaps the roach wanted to smell nice for Mrs Roach :P ….sorry LOL

    …I tend not to use dangley air freshner things…after i vacuum i attack the upholstrey with fabreeze (other fabric refreshers are available) usually does the trick, last longer and is cheaper in the long run ;)

     

    @alucard I’ve seen the advert for it (“Touch”) but it clashes with NCIS or CSI or something…i can’t remember…Might check it out when it is repeated in a few weeks.

     

    @david29 yeah maybe see how popular this thread is and make a proper group later ;)

    @wolf my car has got air freshner and even sneaker balls lying around somewhere.. the car smells like a friggin citrus orchard, so fresh you’d imagine you can pluck a lemon or 2 from the ceiling of the car and yet there’s a roach in there somewhere. maybe this is a freak of nature. a roach that enjoys nice smelling things.

     

    @jen319 no dangley air freshner here. just one of those that you have to stick on the a/c vent thingy. it’s citrus fresh, not manure fresh or trashy fresh. unless they used a bad batch of citrus fruits to make that fragrance i am currently using. it just doesn’t make sense. mrs roach, eh? i best get rid of that roach before he invites another roach to make their home sweet home in my car. i would scream if their babies started crawling all over the place while i drive.
