just got back from the expo. i figured it’s better to go there today instead of tomorrow to avoid the large crowds. i dropped by the ubisoft booth and met the ubiworkshop folks. great bunch of people, very accomodating and courteous. bought some shirts (@pacu89 , PM sent.). i attached a couple of photos to this post , but they’re pretty much the same as the one posted above. still, it’s cool to have my own version (apologies for the blurriness, my arms are beat).
as for the merchandise, pretty much what you see in the pictures are what they are selling – which was a good thing because when i found out the price of the limited edition tee, i knew i had to hold back and stick to my budget. sorry follks, no desmond hoodies. only beaked hoodies were on hand, plus some silver ezio belt buckles. there were also some first edition encyclopedia, but i don’t think you guys still want that with the second edition coming out soon.
one interesting tee available at the booth was the assassin troll tshirt which, as of this typing, is sold out on all sizes at the online store. (see here: http://store.ubiworkshop.com/assassins-creed-army-of-trolls-t-shirt-men/ ). good thing i had a good memory of what was in stock and not online, and which ones were on my wishlist.
overall, a pleasant experience meeting the ubiworkshop people, and i do hope that my suggestion will become a reality (ezio minstrel rocksmith shirt). it’s small encounters like these that make conventions memorable.
