It’s entirely possible it’s just a error considering they’re using a new shipping system, so you might still be getting it sent overnight.
However, having worked extensively with UPS Worldship myself, I wouldn’t blame Ubi for that. I would caution anyone against ever spending more for the “faster” shipping options with UPS, particularly when it comes to International shipments. For starters, if you are close to the packages origin of where it will be shipping out of, never splurge for the “faster” shipping. If you’re within say 300 miles of where it’s shipping from, in all likelihood, you’ll get it in a day or two with the cheapest Ground shipping. For example, I live in the Oregon, and shipping a package from there to say Seattle, Washington via UPS Ground, it gets there in 1 day. For somewhere in California, it takes between 2 and 3 days depending on if it’s Northern or Southern. For Shipping something ground from Oregon to say New York, you’re looking at a max of 5 days. IIRC, it’s the same amount of days shipping from Oregon to the Eastern part of Canada as well. Long story short, unless you’re shipment has to be sent across an ocean, just don’t bother with more expensive shipment options. At most your waiting a day or two and if you pay for the Next Day Delivery but the package doesn’t leave until Friday, you’re still going to have to wait until Monday anyway.
